Jamie Hunt BA(hons). PGCert Landscape Design

Landscape Designer and plantsman, editing and developing low input/high ecological value landscapes since 2009. Jamie brings a lifetime of interest in landscape and over 15 years of professional experience in field-based work & horticulture to lead InsideOut’s projects.

His interest in ecological restoration and rewilding channels through his sustainable design and naturalistic planting ethos, seeing each project as a tiny piece of the jigsaw and an opportunity for environmental improvement for both the enjoyment of people and the wider planetary system.

Travel, immersion in culture, walks in nature, photography, and the arts provide Jamie with the inspiration that feeds his creativity.

Jamie is a licentiate member of the Landscape Institute, the professional body for Landscape Architects in the UK. He has experience working on a wide variety of landscape project types and scales, managing the whole process from master-planning to detailed design, planting plans and the preparation of tender packages. He is also able to successfully oversee the implementation of our designs and has a proven track record in delivering projects on the ground.

A first degree in Geography and Planning and a postgraduate certificate in Landscape Design provide Jamie with a solid foundation for his work, while he is committed to continuous professional development, attending relevant workshops, conferences and events to push forward Edit Landscape’s work.
