Garden Survey

We can advise you during the initial visit whether any plans you have are sufficient or whether we need to have a full topographical survey carried out. We are equipped to carry out a land survey of small to medium-sized gardens to produce an accurate plan of the garden or site. For larger or complex sites we can instruct a professional land surveyor on your behalf.

A scale plan will be produced to show all the relevant measurable features within the area to be considered, and will usually include all buildings, boundaries, services, trees (not forgetting overhanging trees from neighbouring gardens), slopes and other features, as well as levels.

As part of the site analysis, non-measurable information will also be collected, for example things such as North point, sun position, prevailing winds, views, soil types etc.

Once we have a complete survey plan we can start to develop your design.
